Gong Cha: Winter Melon Milk Tea

Tried out my first Gong Cha at Glorietta last Tuesday after my interview at a company. Abby (a new friend) and I were about to go home when I suddenly craved for something to drink because I was too exhausted after my long interview.  I didn’t know if there is Happy Lemon in G so I decided to try out something new. And then I thought about Gong Cha. I’ve been hearing a lot of good reviews about this milk tea so I decided to try one. I didn’t know what to order so I chose the best seller Winter Melon Milk Tea. And yes, it really tastes good!  I was too thirsty that I didn’t think of adding pearls on it. But I bet adding them next time would make it taste so much better.
Now I’m a fan of milk tea because of Gong Cha. Surely, I’ll come back for more. 😀

The Boy Who Turned Thirteen

Happy Birthday, Kuya! 🙂
Our little boy is now a teenager! Time flies so fast. I remember the days when he was still a baby and I am desperately willing to take care of him every time they visit us in Lipa. The little boy who I remembered speaking “putay” as butterfly, “palo” as powder, “budib” as tubig. Crazy it may seems, but I still can’t believe it. Who would have thought that the little boy who used to look for songhits would be a very good singer. Who would have thought that the little boy who already memorized the different countries in the world and their capitals as well will grow even smarter. Though makulit and pasaway at times, he still has grown to be a better kid – very disciplined. No wonder after a few years, he will also grow as a better man.

Happy Birthday, Kuya Ian. I am yearning to have a big brother that’s why ever since Matt came, I called you kuya. I love you so much. You’re more than a cousin or a brother to me. I may not be that too sweet whenever we’re together, but I hope you know how much I love you. I can’t wait for you to grow up to be a man, so we could go out without titas and titos as our chaperons. HAHA! Kidding. By the time you already become a man, I know I’d be proud of you. Always remember that Ate will always be here for you, no matter what. We’re partners in crime, aren’t we? 🙂 Be a good teenager, not like ate. LOL. I love you! And we’re gonna have fun tonight. :*

The Best Version of Me

“Every pain was all worth it…”

After 5 years of extreme happiness and sadness, the struggle to achieve at least 1.0 grade on difficult minor and major subjects, the on-the-spot defense on every company studies, the cramming on company study manuscripts and thesis papers, the empty tummy, the zero allowance and the sleepless nights, FINALLY! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. All the hard work paid off. 🙂
Thank you to all those who have been with me for the last five years especially to my family, Mama and Papa who strove hard just to give me a good education; to my uncles and aunties most especially Tito Andy and Tito Greg who adopted me after my parents passed away and treated me as their child, supported me physically, emotionally and financially; to my dearest cousins (Ian, Matt, Ate Tata) and sisters (Hannah and Ydette) who treated me like a family and have been there with me through ups and downs; to my best friends The Bar (Nhami, Nay, Kei, Michy, Kath, Kriska, Ray, Dano, Mark, Kevin) who made me enjoy my five years in college and brought out the best and the worst in me yet still accepted me for who I am; and to all those who have been part of my journey for the last five years. You know who you are, guys. Again, THANK YOU.

You’ve all supported me by any means and thank you would not be enough. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.
Ma, Pa, this is for you two. I wish you were here with me so we could celebrate this. I hope that wherever you are, you’re proud of me. I miss you. I love you both. :’)

Congratulations, Centennial Graduates! Bittersweet, I know. But WTH?! We did it! May the odds be ever in our favor. Good luck to all of us! 😀

Just spent Easter with Tito (Ninong) Andy’s family at SM South. They’ve been my family for years. I owe them a looot!
